WHOA. That was a killer season finale. Thank you, Bravo, for showing us why these women reign supreme crazies. The recap will be up tomorrow, but until then, here’s your blow by blow: Gretchen and Slade arrive at the party and the vibe in the room is hella awkward considering everyone was just talking mad shit about Gretchen. She has sit-downs with Tamra and Heather at different times because that’s what you do at Housewives parties – you either start or end fights. You don’t have “fun,” as most of us understand it. Both Tamra and Heather “make up” with Gretchen, but clearly still think she’s a lying phony. Which is good, because what fun would the reunion be if everything was hunky dory? Vicki’s in fine, fine form, perhaps more looney tunes than normal, if I do say so myself. She gives Tamra a BFF bracelet that’s bigger than the one Gretchen gave Tamra, then she laughs like a hyena for no apparent reason. THEN she awards Slade a bottle of bacon-flavored vodka and thanks him for inspiring it – but he’s NOT the reason she got plastic surgery, okay everyone? At that point everyone starts bringing up the way Slade talks about women, and they all start fighting – Gretchen screams at Vicki, Lydia screams at Slade and somewhere off in the corner, Tamra’s making Jim Bellino cry, but in the best possible way! It was actually kind of creepy. But, not as creepy as Ryan’s rage monster coming out and exploding all over poor, fairy dusted Judy. There were no cameras around for the confrontation, but both people were on mics, so we get to hear the incredibly disturbing exchange. Basically Judy went inside and put her feet up on a couch. Ryan sees this and immediately loses his mind. He swears at her, screams at her, and then starts yelling at anyone in his path who doesn’t take his side – including Vicki. Brianna defends him as best she can, but it’s clear no one at that party thinks he had any right to speak to Judy like that. I’ve been saying that guy was scary and controlling from the beginning, and this absolutely solidifies my opinion. Gross.
