Last week on True Blood, the Stackhouses got to meet Niall, their long lost Faerie Grandfather, and Sookie learned how to focus her faerie powers. Sookie also met Ben, a sexy new faerie stranger, who just happened to have been attacked by a vampire and who she found laying injured by the side of the road on her walk to work. Bill sucked the blood out of a donor-for-hire using his telekinetic powers and freaked Jessica right the hell out in the process. He also revealed that he can see the future, and the future is bright…meaning he sees all the vampires we know and love “meeting the sun” in his vision of the future. Uh oh. Sam was confronted by some activists from the Vampire Unity Society, and one of them urged him to go public with his shifter status to help supernaturals everywhere fight the man. Meanwhile, Alcide and the werewolf gang beat the hell out of Lafayette and Sam and snatched back Emma, all while the activists got video footage of the shifter/werewolf throwdown from the bushes near Sam’s house. In perhaps my favorite story line, Eric masqueraded as a nerd from the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in order to break into the Governor’s mansion. He tried to glamour the Gov, but the Gov’s got new anti-vamp weapons…including contacts that make people immune to vampire’s glamour mojo. He escapes the Governor’s goons…but comes back later, just after Willa, the Gov’s daughter, had taken out her contacts for the night. He glamours her and she invites him in…and that brings us to this week’s episode! We start hot and heavy with Eric seducing Willa in her dreamy bedroom. Eric is sexxxxay in this scene, even if he is going into great detail about just how he’s going to murder Willa. Willa saves her own bacon by telling Eric that she has valuable information that could be useful…namely information about “the experiments.” We see the Governor’s goons busting into the room and yelling, “Freeze!” but they’re already gone. My notes read “Whoa! Crotch grab!” Back at the Compton house, Bill explains to Jess that he’s seen vamps meeting the sun in his most recent vision, and that he has to stop that from happening. Jess argues that what he sees (at least so far) has come true, and Lilith can’t expect him to change the future. Bill says he must save them, he simply must. Then he drops the bomb that in his future vision, he sees Jessica, Eric, Pam and Tara ALL burning. Sookie is still at her house with Niall and Jason, practicing with her Faerie ball of lightning. Jason’s got a killer headache and grabs some drugs from the kitchen cabinet and since he thanks Lafayette for them, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that he’s not taking Excedrin. Niall senses a super strong power nearby…Warlow perhaps? Jason runs outside with Niall (and a gun), but collapses in pain from his [...]
