Hey hey hey – it’s Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry time! Usual disclaimer: I don’t believe in psychics but I’m keeping an open mind. Tonight’s episode features Lil’ Jon, Kendra Wilkinson, and Carole Radziwill.
And the ghost of a Kennedy!
Let’s get into it.
On the car ride over, being driven by his manager/chaffeur/friend, Tyler is talking to two grandmas at once, which seems kind of nightmarish to me. One of them was buried with a golf club – so a golfing grandma. Cool. He arrives at his first stop which is Kendra Wilkinson – former playmate/current TV personality/mom – well, actually cool mom among her group of mom friends now that she’s getting a reading from Tyler.
Coool mooooom
Kendra says she’d be open to “like, any dead person coming through”, but is more apprehensive about hearing about her future. Tyler lets her (and me) know that he uses his 5 regular senses to aid and abet his super 6 sense, so like he can smell ghost’s perfume in addition to hearing them talk to him…and like..tasting ghost cookies? Unsure on how taste is helpful.
Tyler knows that Kendra has two kids, and then asks her if she’d be open to having a third and this is her face:
Whaaaaaaat
Kendra apparently has a “susceptibility” to pregnancy, which seems like a fairly common thing among women, so maybe she will have a third child in the future. Crazy.
I love Kendra’s frozen laugh face.
But enough about the future, let’s move on the (usually depressing as hell) past! Tyler holds the first object, some soothing acoustic rock starts playing, and Tyler is talking to the two grandmas from earlier ago. One of the grandmas died over a decade ago or so, and one was more recent – the recent one is the one that Tyler wants to particularly talk to today.
He asks Kendra what her maternal grandfather’s name was, and she says “William” – at which point Tyler reveals he has ALREADY WRITTEN THAT NAME DOWN.
Was THIS your card?
Okay, okay. It IS a good trick, or reading, or communing, but for that to work you have to believe that he really, honest-to-God hasn’t looked up these people before hand. So I’m going to try to suspend disbelief for the rest of the show. Honest. I’m sorry, it’s just hard.
I want to believe!
Okay, back to the maternal grandmother – Tyler keeps saying Mommom, which is exactly what Kendra called her grandmother – Mom’s Mom, get it? Mommom is maybe the one buried with the golf club? Yes. What would I like to be buried with? I don’t know, coffee. A tree seed? ENOUGH ABOUT ME. Kendra’s Mommom did love golf, and was in fact buried with her golf club.
Tyler, via Mommom, references a great-grandchild, and a name passing down, and this means that Kendra gave her daughter the middle name of Mary, which is Momom’s real name. Mommom was more like a mother than a grandmother to Kendra, this turns out to be true (and also all over the tabloids in the past, but who cares). On to grandma number two!
Kendra’s paternal grandmother was a nurse, and she passed away at home. Tyler can’t pull out paternal grandma’s name, but that’s okay because Kendra doesn’t remember it herself. However, he does get Kendra’s aunt’s name (the grandma’s daughter) correct, and it is Kristen, and she and Kendra have recently reunited. The grandma only known as Baba is pleased with this. The overall message of Kendra’s reading is reconciliation, everyone leaves happy.
Don’t forget about that third baby on the way though, girl.
Alright, now yeah! Yeah! It’s time for Lil Jon, okay! Timely references. We may be having a psychic-off this reading, because Lil Jon is also very sensitive to energy and is picking up like CRAZY vibes off of Tyler. Legend has it that Lil Jon’s mom was psychic when she was pregnant with him, but when he was born she was psychic no more – so Lil John sucked all the psychic abilities straight out of his mom. UGH babies are such parasites.
WHAT!
The first spirit Tyler talked to in the building told him to ask Lil Jon about his hat, and sure enough he is wearing a hat, when usually he does NOT wear a hat. Lil Jon asks Tyler how he refined his clairvoyant abilities, and fine tuned the scribbling and whatnot. Tyler first did it somewhat unconsciously when he was on the phone with a friend at age thirteen, and he deciphered the scribbles and it turns out they were all stuff he was intuiting about his friend.
“If you think about words, words are just scribbles”
Okay, on to object-hold-scribble-time. Once again we have two women coming through, and at first they didn’t get along but later they did (but let’s get real, everyone is getting along in the afterlife). The women are Lil Jon’s mother and grandmother – grandmother already has closure, but the mother does not yet. She wishes she’d had another chance to talk to Lil Jon before she passed, because her death was unexpected – she had a stroke, and then multiple brain surgeries but never regained consciousness.
