Greetings, Trashies! On this penultimate episode of season 2, we don’t really find anything out — but the characters all find things out about each other, in a very action-packed and exciting kind of way. Okay, let’s get right to it!
As we open, Qua is having yet another chat with his wife’s ghost, who’s lounging on the clock face while he works on the computer. “Does any of it even matter?” she goads. “To Jeffrey Stewart, it does,” responds Qua. “It’s not going to bring her back,” she taunts. “It’s not going to bring ME back. He’ll just ruin his daughter’s life, and so will you.”
“I’m so wound up, I could stab someone!”
Then she starts in about Jasper again. “Ooh. Is Jasper Frost still closing in on you? What did he find?” God, is she annoying.
What Jasper found, upon studying security camera footage from the night of the attack, was that there wan’t enough time for Lucius to have done it. Jasper tells Liam he’s been through every frame of footage and has yet to figure out who the perpetrator is — but he’s sure it wasn’t Lucius. Liam says, “I know I told you to be great for Leni. Well, this is your chance.”
Jasper wants to know if Le is still boinking that klepto with bad breath, Mandy. Liam says no — “There’s hope for you yet,” he says encouragingly.
The Queen is watching Liam’s video, when in walks Rachel, wanting to know what the game plan is. To Rachel’s surprise, she says, “The game plan is redemption.” She sends her out to make a call. “Be discreet,” she says.
“And no anchovies — got that, Rachel?”
Meanwhile, Leni’s cleaning up her room in a silly tee shirt, never mind that it was already thoroughly cleaned last week by her foxy — yet fatherly — new bodyguard, James. She calls in James to show off.
”Look, no hands!”
She tells James she’s straightening out her life, now. He says, “The first steps are often the most difficult ones, Your Highness.” Then he tells her he’s proud of her.
Elsewhere in the palace, Nigel knocks on Maribel’s door while she’s dressing. She strips down to her undies and lets him in. Then she comes on to him like gangbusters, until he’s no longer able to resist. They’re just about to kiss, when Penelope barges in. They both say, “This is my new boyfriend!”
“Gadzooks, busted!”
