Hi, Trashies. It’s time for Latin Night and the first elimination of the season! Ooh, Mark is injured, so he doesn’t get to make the dance all about him. Maybe he’ll pull a Derek move and somehow insert himself into all of it. Let’s get right to the show, shall we?
Jodie and Keto are up first. Joe is bummed that Len gave her a 6 last week and she knows she has to step up her game because there are people on the show who want this just as badly and are just as good. Oh no! Jodie is feeling the pressure and she runs out of the room crying. Keo does a good job of talking her down. I hope we get to see more of him.
Well, Stephanie and Tanners have certainly grown up. I’m not sure if it was good or not because I was distracted by how good Keo looks shirtless. Len says they didn’t need the flames because the dance was hot enough. Jodie needs to work on her legs at times, but the dance was much better than last week. As usual, Bruno uses this as an excuse to shake his hips. From what I could gather, he wants Jodi to just be more comfortable. Carrie Ann is happy to see Jodie more relaxed this week, but she has to not get in her own head and tense up.
Scores:
Carrie Ann – 7
Len – 7
Bruno – 7

The judges all agreed it was better than last week, but only one of them scored higher than last week. So, yeah. There’s that.
Marla and Tony are dancing an Argentine tango. Isn’t it a bit early for a dance like that? I loved it when they saved it for the semi-finals. Also, Marla eats tiger nuts and I’m not going to look up what they actually are because I want to imagine she’s actually eating testicles. That’s funnier to me.
The dance was pretty good, but it seemed kind of sloppy. I feel like the Argentine tango is supposed to be crisp. Bruno thinks that Marla flashed him and he liked it. Something Bruno will never say to another woman every again. Carrie Ann disagrees with Bruno. She liked that Marla kept the dance elegant and classy instead of down and dirty. However, she wants to see more angles between the “beautiful pictures.” Len explains that the Argentine tango is a dance of seduction and there just wasn’t enough intimacy for him.

I’m so glad Len is back. He gives realistic scores.
Geraldo is terrifying dressed as Donald Drumpf. I guess the two of them are friends, so Geraldo is hoping Drumpf will get a kick out of this. Also, due to an accident, Geraldo has no feelig in his right foot.
Well, there’s no more fake tan left in the world. Also, I’m not sure I follow this story line. This would make way more sense if Melania were Latina and not from Slovenia. I read a “Wait, Trump is elected and the wall never gets built?” joke and I really wish I had thought of it first. It’s too good not to share though. Also, if you haven’t seen this, enjoy! It’s way better than the dance.
Carrie Ann says that Geraldo didn’t make dance great again (*drum hit*), but at least the routine was entertaining. There was a little rhythm, but not very much. It’s not like he couldn’t improve from last week. Len says the word “trumpery” actually does describe this dance. Here’s the definition of “trumpery:”
I didn’t hear what Bruno said because I was laughing too hard.

Carrie Ann – 5
Len – 4

Is that worse than last week? Yeah, there’s no way he’s not going home this week.
Since Mark is injured, Paige is dancing with Alan. That’s always rough because the new pair doesn’t have the same chemistry that the original couple does. Paige is worried about Mark dropping her because he’s so much smaller than he is. You’ll never guess how he hurts himself! Yep, it’s doing the lift. So much for Mark’s strong core, I guess.
It’s nice to see a simple dance without Mark’s showboating. I think Paige might be a dark horse in this competition. Also, it’s really impressive that Alan came in and took over with all of two hours notice. I’m sure the pros each of understudies or something like that though. Len says that this was the best dance so far on season 22. Bruno lays on the compliments because I think he’s afraid Paige will beat him up. Can she please? Carrie Ann tells Paige that she rushed a little in the beginning, but she destroyed the dance (in a good way).
