Blood, Sweat, and Fears. Okay, so I’ve been trying to make sense out of the titles of these episodes, and this one doesn’t make sense. Where’s the blood? The sweat is obviously from Kris during her workouts. And Fears? Is it the fear that we all have that the show will NEVER END?
This is how Miss Ellie prepares for watching the show:
Mmmm…Vodka
We open with Khloe complaining about her thighs – there had been comments online about her thighs during a recent stint on the red carpet. (Is that the reference to blood?) She says: “Who works out every day and still has problems with their thighs?” When she was fatter she had more muscle definition.
Scott and Penelope are having lunch with Kris. Penelope does not look happy. Kris tells Scott she went to her doctor today – she’s struggling about getting older. She’s been feeling tired. Scott says she’s more active than most 30 year olds and she looks good. Kris says she’s 20 pounds overweight. Scott doesn’t think so.
Kris wants to increase her energy and have more stamina because she’s exhausted. The doctor gives her a kit to collect her stool sample. Then she and Scott have a disgusting conversation – over lunch mind out – about pooping and such.

Scott is over at Khloe’s – he asks if Khloe is going to be involved with his birthday celebrations, which are this week. She says yes – it’s in Vegas and she needs a good distraction. He says he’s also doing a family thing the night before.
Kris is over at Kourtney’s to do a workout with her personal trainer Don. He puts her through a grueling set. She’s not used to exercising and it’s a challenge. But she’s game.
Khloe’s house – she’s on the phone with Elizabeth Campos, her Business Manager. She wants to make sure she can help Lamar if he needs it (i.e., if he is on life support) regardless of their marital status. Lamar has asked Khloe to be the one to make all his medical decisions, but she reminded him that they are still going to be getting divorced. For the second time she is finalizing her divorce papers with the lawyers. She needs to move on.
Kris’s house – Khloe is there. She’s been so stressed that she’s getting headaches. Kris says that’s just like her. Kourtney is there, too – she has to decide whether or not to go to Vegas for Scott’s birthday. She’s happy he invited her and that they are getting along so well in their co-parenting, but she thinks it will send the wrong message if she goes. Kris and Kourtney are dressed alike, down to their chokers.
Kris is icing her leg/knee after her workout. Scott comes by and tells her she is being ridiculous trying to keep up with Kourtney. Scott tells her to do water aerobics (a “senior” exercise, low-impact. Scott calls her the hottest 60 year old on the planet, she looks 40, and she’s beautiful. This is going in a weird direction.
Kourtney’s house – Scott and Kim are there. Scott tells them that Kris is overdoing it, and they need to have her dial it back. They need to find something they can do together exercise-wise that is more appropriate for Kris.

Kris and Khloe are discussing the gigantic more-than-lifesize naked photograph of Khloe in her theater room. Khloe asks if Kris has talked to Rob lately. Kris says it makes her sad they haven’t talked. Khloe is complaining (again!) that Rob never reaches out to her – she always has to make the first move and she’s tired of it. She finds it weird that they don’t talk – they used to be inseparable. She misses his support.

Khloe and Kim are talking at Khloe’s house. Khloe is channeling an Indian princess. She says she hates everyone today – word has gotten out about her filing for divorce. She lashes out at Kim. Kim defends herself and says how supportive she has been. Khloe says she doesn’t need anybody to care. Ouch!
Are those breasts or knees?
(This reminds me of the “sexy” graphic you can make out of the knees of the Indian princess on the Land O Lakes butter box– ask your older brother, or Google it.)

Khloe and Kim and North are in the car going to Nobu for Scott’s birthday family celebration. Everyone is at the party.

Scott is impressed that Khloe is there even though she is going through the throes of her divorce. He calls her one of the strongest women he knows. Khloe asks who all is going to Vegas for his birthday celebration– he names off a bunch of people. She asks if Kourtney is going, she says she doesn’t know yet. Scott makes a disgusted face. He has invited Rob, but because of Chyna (being pregnant?) he’s not going. So now we have to hear about how lost Khloe is without Rob. Scott opens his presents. He gets boot from Kourtney and the kids. Kim gives him a photo of herself. He is very happy to have everyone there.

Kourtney’s house — Kim tells Kourtney that she feels Khloe doesn’t think they are supporting her. Kim wants to do something special for Khloe – like a spa day or something like getting her favorite food or something to show they care. Kim tells Kourtney that that she should go to Vegas because Khloe really wants her there. But Kourtney has to do what’s best for her – she doesn’t want to send Scott the wrong message. She did her own thing for her birthday (the Iceland trip) and they don’t always have to do everything together. Kourtney is torn.

But in the end Kourtney decides to go to Vegas. On the plane Scott keeps making jokes about having sex with Kourtney. If the plane goes down, will she have last minute sex with him – she says no.
In Vegas, during dinner Scott gives Khloe crap about not paying attention to him – she’s preoccupied with her phone. He says she’s typically the life of the party and needs to participate. He’s also all over Kourtney – pawing her, etc. They leave for the club – 1Oak. He tries to kiss her at the club. Repeatedly. Even so, she’s happy they are getting along and happy that they are having fun.

Back to LA – Rob is over at Kris’s house. Kris starts grilling him about if he’s talked to Khloe. “She’s your best friend, you should talk to her.” Kris tells him that Khloe misses her brother. Rob says she does this to herself. Kris says just because he’s in this new relationship doesn’t mean he should drop all of them. But he says they haven’t been exactly welcoming of his fiancé and the situation. Kris says that Khloe has always been there for Rob and now she needs him more than ever so he needs to step up and be there for her. [Wait a minute – why is Khloe being all needy now – just because she filed for divorce? She’s done it before, what’s the big deal?] Kris points out that with Rob’s new baby coming it is a perfect time to bond back with the family. She wants Rob and Khloe to be connected again — she’s had such a hard year with all the Lamar stuff and she really needs family now, especially Rob. He needs to make the first move. He agrees to reach out to Khloe.
Rob calls Khloe and she is excited. She asks about Chyna. He says he wants to come see her – she says that this is the best phone call ever. Khloe says their dad would be happy with both of them.

Kourtney’s house – Kim and Kourtney and Khloe are all wearing matching pajamas. They are having a pampering day. The whole day is so that Khloe feels loved, adored, admired, and cared about. Khloe asks why – what’s happened? They explain that even though she always acts strong, she sometimes need TLC. Khloe is pleased. She says knowing that she has support like this makes it so that everything will be okay eventually.
Scott and Kourtney are in Kris’s garage. Kourtney got Kris a Pilates machine and she’s dying to use it, too. Pilates will be gentler on her body. Kris is ecstatic. And she’s happy to do it together with Kourtney.
Rob comes to Khloe’s house. She tells him she got dressed up for him. They hug. But she immediately starts criticizing him for not hugging her right. Then she complains that he doesn’t look at her when he talks. Gees – she doesn’t stop with the bitching.

They talk about how Chyna is doing and if he’s excited, nervous for the baby. They argue over who texted last. Khloe says it will be more normal if they come around more often. Khloe keeps lecturing him about how close they should be. But he says he wants to be there for her. Khloe feels good having her brother back in her life. She feels safe and at peace. He says he’s really tired, and she suggests they take a nap together. Totally weird.
Next episode: Kourtney is at the Women of the Year Awards (why?) and she is afraid to get on stage to talk; Kris asks Khloe what her dream birthday party would be where they can all celebrate together; Rob tells the family he and Chyna are not living together any more. [Wow, way to build up drama so we all will want to watch the new show.]
