Episode 11 – It’s not Vegetables, Bri. Hello Trashies! Nearly there with the catch up. Or alternatively, it’s possible we have started here – hello! I’m Redmeph and I’m starting the Masterchef recaps. I’ve kept to the style and names used on TVGasm for a bit of continuity. But I have started calling Krissi ‘The Juggernaut’ – because of her tendency to mercilessly crush the others in an unstoppable rage. And Jesse retains her nick of ‘Princess Peach’ and James is ‘David Jesus Cross’ The recap of last ep thunders on – the Glee catering challenge and the crushing of Bime by the Juggernaut. It changes into a pre-cap and we see Christine Ha is guesting, and the promised fight between Juggernaut and Bastage. Will it live up to the billing and be shocking? Undoubtedly not. The mini’s roll up and Beth realizes there are 13 people left and she is still here. I’m not totally convinced of that, I think part of her is off with the pixies. Possibly pixies that like mushrooms. Beth, Mistress of Being Suspiciously Happy in the MorningGod help her if that’s her on a natural high. Aw, she does look happy though doesn’t she. Terrifying, but happy. Aannd its the Mystery Box again! For a ‘Huge Advantage’. Bri is hoping for vegetables. It’s not Vegetables, BriLuckily for the mini’s they don’t have to butcher the head. They were just for show, each mini has a selection of pig head cuts. They have 90 minutes and off they go. They need the time to break down the collagen in these tougher meat cuts and make them tender. This seems a toughy for Bri -but she’s come up with a ‘farmers breakfast’ of eggs on crispy pigs ear and salad. For me, salad should either be the sole focus, or it shouldn’t be on the plate. Maybe Bri hates farmers. The mini’s seem to be making a wide array of nice things. No one seems to be messing up! Probably because of this, they end this challenge faster than usual.
