Last week on True Blood a whole lot of awesome happened. Eric turned Willa (in a damn sexy scene), the Gov’s new girlfriend is Sarah Newlin, Nora and Pam were both captured by the LAVTF; and Nic, Sam and Emma are on the run from Alcide and his wolfpack. Additionally, Jessica may or may not have killed all of Andy Bellefleur’s faerie daughters and Extremely Convenient Ben turned out to be Warlow. He also banished Grandpa Niall to the netherworld where he’d been stuck for the last 20 years. As I said, a whole lot of awesome happened. This week, we start right where we left off. Sookie’s got her vampire-killing ball of light ready to go right over Warlow’s head. She doesn’t understand why she gets so much attention from vampires…why do they all seem to stalk her, hunt her, etc.? Apparently an accent is a tough thing to maintain the face of death, because Warlow immediately drops the slow, Southern drawl. He explains that he’s wandered in solitude for millennia looking for her…his intended. Sookie isn’t buying his love story. Why did he kill her parents if he’s her intended? Equal opportunity nudityBack at the Compton residence, Jessica is full of remorse for killing the faeries. She’s also high as a kite. Bill seems vaguely inconvenienced by the pile of dead women in his living room. Admittedly, he has a lot on his plate these days. Jessica alternates between writhing around on the couch, trying to make out with Bill, and crying that she’s a monster. We flash right back to Sookie’s as Warlow tries to explain how things went down 20-odd years ago. On the night Sookie’s parents died, her parents were actually trying to kill her. Warlow SAVED her. Sookie calls BS and zaps Warlow with her ball of faerie light. Simultaneously, Bill winces in pain and has a brief series of visions involving Lilith and a long-haired caveman version of Warlow. He tells Jessica to sleep it off and takes off in a hurry. Warlow heals from Sookie’s attack right before her eyes. She’s in the midst of giving him an earful about the nature of vampires when Bill arrives. Warlow threatens to kill Bill and Bill answers that he already has. Because he’s got Lilith inside him (and because Warlow is Lilith’s progeny), Bill has power as Warlow’s maker and is able to summon him away. Easy peasy. Sookie is left looking a bit confused, still holding her (now useless) ball of light. Back at Bill’s house, Andy races up in his cop car looking for his daughters. He creeps into the house, shotgun drawn, and finds his girls all splayed out on the floor, clearly drained. Jessica is watching from a nearby room, but it’s clear Andy thinks vampire Bill is responsible. Jessica slips out while his back is turned, but one of Andy’s daughters shows signs of life. He picks her up and takes her away. Tara meets up with Eric at [...]
