Am I The Only One Who Sees The Irony Here?

Hi Trashionistas, it’s been a slow gossip day, and I was minding my own business when I saw one of those “for your consideration” ads on an entertainment trade website, and well, here it is     So okay,one the one hand, if you like dancing you probably like So You think You Can Dance, and for your consideration ads are as much for the network to give the people who work on the shows kind of a cheap handy to make them feel special. howEVER, I’m trying to picture a world where So you Think Can You Dance wins seven emmys [brushes off a little TV geek indignation] when The Wire was never even nominated. Actually this isn’t that bad. Before the nominations came out TLC was running full page ads for why Dance Moms should be nominated. Anyway, like I said, it was a slow gossip day
