Hello Trash Talkers! JuleBox, who killed it last week, has left Vikki and her miserable minions behind. I have been granted another holiday to spend with Vikki and her plastic clients. This is not a bad thing. Nothing warms my Grinch heart more than watching love turn to hate. Seeing it during a season where people are unconvincingly shouting about comfort and joy is even better.
Meredith is all about peace..as long as Vikki buys into her phony bullshit.
The targets this week are Andy and Meredith. I am hoping one of them is likeable. It makes it that much easier to rip the other apart. Alex, Vikki’s assistant, fills her in on the details before the mediation. Andy is a biker type. Meredith is pretending to be one of those peace, love and light people. I can smell her hostility already. I can hardly wait.
Vikki drops in the former couple’s million dollar home in New Jersey for the mediation. I am not impressed with Meredith. She looks like a thinner version of Tanning Mom. It’s all good, because her suburban swagger shows us this is her idea of beautiful. Someone explain to her what is wrong with orange skin and brassy hair. I’m certain she’s trying to pass this off as “natural”.
I’m officially Team Andy.
Andy is a plump biker stuffed in conservative clothes. After the introductions, Vikki wants to know what led their marriage to destruction. Andy blames it on Meredith’s obsession with yoga. That and their musical tastes. Vikki’s convinced there is something more behind their misery. Ya think?
The former couple thinks it’s all about their difference in lifestyles. Meredith was once a fatty with pale skin. Now she’s anorexic and orange. She can’t comprehend why Andy won’t join the fun. He prefers a life of bacon, excessive body fat and unpainted skin. He is now the official viewer favorite.
Meredith ups the hate factor by being a total phony. She preaches about her peaceful lifestyle, but when it comes down to splitting the goods, she is one greedy skeleton.
Vikki also has a pre-nup consultation she throws into the ep. Sound boring? Not when it’s the future mother-in-law trying to trick her future son-in-law into attending.
