Apres Ski Recap: Two Is Company Three Is A Bobsled

Do you ever notice each episode of this show leaves you with a dinner fight cliff hanger that never gets resolved? Last week we left off at one of the teams “infamous” Sunday night dinner with the People vs. All things Elise, ok mostly she was fighting with Jim. But I’m certain Lysney’s hair braid was involved in some capacity. Anyway, we have zero resolution as we pick up the next day at the concierge house where the group is getting read for their weekly meet the clients kick off meeting. Also, I’m comfortable to officially announce that I think that Kendra has only one pair of pajamas, guess she will need to make a trip back to Epcot Norway and restock when this gig is up. Lynsey announces that she will be leaving to assist her mom who is having surgery after a recent ski accident. You know Lynsey spent about 3 days 2 night in this concierge house and her reaction was peace out, but she already signed her contract.

Tamra and Elise meet up for a walk in the woods, very brave of you Tamra…because Elise isn’t much of a mountaineer. You thought I meant because Elise might make Tamra have an unfortunate “accident”? Oh ya maybe that too. Elise tells Tamra she thinks Jim is disrespectful and jealous and Tamra says she needs to work on her management style considering they have four more weeks in Whistler. I’m just shocked they found four more weeks worth of people who have stolen credit cards and have booked 4 nights at the Westin and want these services. Anyway Tamra tells Elise she and Joey are willing to restructure the team in necessary, nice foreshadowing Bravo!

The group heads over to the Gibbons life cabin where the team tells us they are all on pins and needles over the fight last night with Elise. However, Elise comes in bright eyed and bushy tailed, and her hair is looking particularly nice. There is little time to enjoy Elise’s good mood because their first clients are skyping in, meet Marsiah, Reghan, and Christie, they are three divorcee/actress/philanthropists (which Elise pronounces in way that we can assume means she doesn’t know what philanthropist means). The ladies have some interesting demands, a shotski, and a selfie with a bear. Couple of things, can someone let these women know that doing a shotski on a C+ Bravo show will not get them booked as a bartender on Watch What Happens Live?

Actually who knows, maybe it will. Also Char  brings up a surprisingly good point in that the bears are currently hibernating. Maybe they are looking for a rabid, sleep deprived bear? Who cares, time to meet the next couple, Crystal and Chris, she is a member of the Glitteratti, which is apparently someone who attends social events? These calls seem to go pretty well and Jim remarks that Elise has adopted a 7 minute management training program, more like an attitude adjustment that will last 7 minutes.

The crew sets to work on setting up the activities for the group, the divorcee/actress/philanthropist will go on a snowmobiling excursion up a mountain. Crystal and Chris will get the Whistler experience with a horseback ride and bobsledding. The team decides to join in on the bobsledding fun and use it as an opportunity for some team building. Elise takes this opportunity to almost apologize for her behavior at dinner/lack of management/missed meetings due to writing Empire fan fiction.

Crystal and Chris are the first to arrive and when Jim offers to take Crystal’s coat she offers up that she has no clothes on underneath. Totally unnecessary, but thanks for sharing. Regardless of Crystal’s clothing attempts (or lack there of) Chris seems much more interested in starting an uncomfortably fast paced bromance with Jim. Kendra and Jim, the dynamic duo are working on this team, and Crystal and Chris are excited for their activities. They don’t seem like the worst people in the world so let’s meet Mashia, Reghan, and Christie, they could be the worst people in the world but whatever we have got Bobby, Char, Flotsom, and Jetsom on this one.

It’s the morning of the bobsledding team building exercise and Elise goes to the concierge house and is thoroughly annoyed when she arrives and folks aren’t ready to leave, but then it is revealed they have an entire hour to get ready. Elise is the worst but enough about Elise and her awful attitude, for now. Bobby announces that bobsleds make him nervous and he loves things that make him nervous ie his old Friendster account and cocaine. The bobsleds fit three riders, plus a driver and Chris is insistent that Jim joins them for their joy ride. This actually looks pretty fun, pretty dangerous, but fun. After Chris and Crystal are all done there is time for one more ride for the “team building” Gibbons Life extravaganza. However if you can do beyond 2nd grade math (which is me on a good day) you would realize that someone is going to have to sit this ride out. Let’s break it down, word problem style:
