mikeyOh em gee, Trashies! I am so sorry for the lateness of this recap. I drove up to visit my parents on Friday night for the holiday weekend. Usually, this is no problem for me writing a recap as I can just bring along my laptop and sit on the porch while I snark away on our “Million Dollar Listing” friends. Anyway, I sat down on Friday evening to get to writing, but my computer refused to connect to my parents’ wi-fi. I did all the fun “turn it off and on again” things that one can do when wi-fi is down. Unfortunately, none of that helped. It turned out, it wasn’t just me. No on in the house could connect. Since Mama and Papa Philly live in Bumblefuck Nowheresville, they couldn’t get a service tech out there until after the holiday weekend. I hoped that the interwebs would magically start working, but my luck just doesn’t work that way. So, here is a cyber beer to hopefully make up for making you wait so long for this. All the colors of the rainbow. OK, so let’s get right to this week’s episode. To punish me for being so late, Bravo has decided that I get to start the show with both Josh A. and his equally douchy brother Matt! They’re selling a spec house for their parents’ friends located on Oak Pass. Apparently, a lot of celebrities live there. Since I can’t handle more than one Altman at a time without wanting to vomit, I’ve decided just to not give a shit about them or the house they’re selling. So, cute animals it is! Way better. The house is actually pretty sweet, but it seems to have a lot of unnecessary elements. Who the hell needs an entire floor to be a master bathroom? That is a lot of space dedicated to, literally, shit. Anyway, it’s time to talk price. With the quality of work put into this house, Matt says they’re looking at $9 million – low $10 million and suggests they list at $9.9 million. Surprisingly, this is more than the sellers were expecting. Josh wants to start showing the next day – while the house is still under construction. He is hoping he’ll find a buyer who wants the house before it’s on the market. Oh, snap! Matt thinks Josh is jumping the gun! He wants to wait until the house is done so the buyer can just take the keys and move in. I love Matt a little bit because he causes Josh to throw a temper tantrum. Welcome to my good side. Josh and Matt leave the house arguing and I smile a little inside. Anything that pisses off Josh Altman is good in my book. Time to step away from the kiddie table and hang out with Madison for a while. And he is sporting the beginning of some unfortunate facial hair. Why has no one told him this is not a good […]
