Hello readers! I hope you all have great plans for this last official weekend of the summer. I am looking forward to a whole lot of nothing  and maybe hitting the beach one last time before the craziness of a new school year and a jam packed fall begins!

The ladies getting ready to leave for spa weekend and Melissa has prepared by packing 4 bags for 2 days.

Siggy is picking Jac up. Jac makes a point about giving Chris a rundown of what to do while she is gone because it’s a big deal for her to be away from Nicholas for 2 nights. Hmm I am pretty sure I have seen her in past seasons be away from him on what appears to be back to back trips and it didn’t that big of a deal. She does that thing where people overcompensate for the burden that children can by agreeing what a blessing children are.

Delores stops to picks up Tre and Melissa. Melissa has to run back in for her hair and make-up bag that is no doubt 90% contouring tools and make-up. Tre is glad they are not all driving together to the spa because she is not looking forward to hanging out with Jacqueline.

Jac is not nervous she thinks if Teresa tries to make a dig, she will just bury her. Sure Jan. Siggy is excessively optimistic about Jac’s true desire to be Tre’s friend because she can feel the love that Jac carries for Tre. Delores doesn’t want to dig into anything while there.

They arrive at Crystal Springs, which in my head I keep calling Crystal Waters. It looks lovely and the girls have a private house with a butler waiting for them out front with glasses of champagne. This is just like the resort I went to last weekend if you replace with the butler with a giant clock tower with terrifying animatronic characters that pop out and sing about the rhythm of nature while re-writing the history of the Native Americans and the settlers that took their land. The girls pull a Ramonja running around picking the best room for them before the other girls get there. Things are very awkward when Siggy and Jac get there. Jac being the hard-core bitch she is completely avoids Teresa. Siggy reintroduces Jac to Tre and Jac having just taken a hit of Xanax acts as awkward as possible. Tre complains to Delores about Jac shaking her hand and how she would have liked to give her a hug or a kiss and D looks totally over it…

Joe Gorga at home with his kids, he somehow burns the chicken and the popcorn. Maybe he should have just want bought a bag of Tiny Popcorn. I love that he doesn’t know what a “baking sheet” is but does manage to line one with foil and season fish on it to make for dinner. Chris calls to invite him to a poker night with Joe Giudice and the other husbands while the hens are away. So we have that to look forward to seeing at some point!

The ladies are having one of those dinner in a wine cellar where they pair each dish with a wine and they are getting progressively drunk as the dinner continues. They start talking about traveling and past RHONJ trips to Napa and the time they went to Italy and little by little, Tre and Jac start connecting and talking.

Delores believes that getting them out of their environment was key to patching things up. Delores asks if Chris has always been into wine and Jac says yes, Melissa then comments on his great wine cellar to, which Jac says not anymore. Smart Jac. Keeping clean on TV is key because you know those investors they screwed are watching just to make sure they aren’t flashing assets.

This ultimately leads to a discussion about money. Jac talks about how dirt water wasn’t rolling in it at first but now that everyone has discovered the healing powers, it has for autism its flying off the shelves. Jacqueline talks about how they have struggled starting a new business and having a child with autism costs almost 60,000 a year. Look kids are expensive little beings AND maybe this number includes tuition at private school where he gets more one on one interaction but I looked into it and an article from Autism Speaks from 2014 suggested that number is closer to $17,000 including the cost of education an medical expenses. So this either a great exaggeration, a ploy to get sympathy so people will buy their products or they are being way overcharged. Doing their best Penelope they all begin to compare notes on they have suffered.
