You can share that factoid around the table on Thursday to break the tension when the inevitable family in-fighting begins. This week, on SoA, we open at Casa Teller. Tara wakes up on the day bed in Thomas’s room (finally, they use that bed for something) and walks around the house, looking for her ne’er-do-well husband, or some evidence of him. Abel and Thomas are both safe and sound, and, judging by the blanket and pillow, Jax slept on the couch. However, he’s not there. Rat is in the kitchen, sitting at the table, when Tara comes in, Thomas in tow. She rudely demands that Rat tell her where Jax is. Good morning to you, too, beeeyotch. Good thing I brought my own coffee.He says Jax is “at work” and that she can’t bring the boys to daycare at the hospital because Jax doesn’t want Abel & Thomas at St. T anymore. Jax is meeting with D.A. Patterson on the side of the road somewhere (the favorite setting this season). She shows him the immunity deal and Tara’s plea agreement (no jail time) on paper, already approved, but tells him it’s not valid until Jax delivers Galen and the guns, as promised. Jax tells her she can pick up both at an abandoned warehouse at the Stockton docks between 11 and 1 that day, and warns her to bring as many law enforcement officers as she can since Galen and his dozen or so henchmen will be well-armed. He asks her if she’s bringing in the sheriffs, but Patterson tells him to mind his own business and stalks off to the Denali of Doom. Over at Gemma’s, Nero chats with Gem and asks if the mercy she’s sharing with Wendy can spill over to Tara. Gemma has no interest in that, and Nero shares that he had the same hate toward Lucius’s mother, and he now regrets it, since she’s dead and all and he can’t make peace with her. She, like Wendy, was a heroin addict during her pregnancy and is at fault for Lucius’s spina bifida. Really? See, there’s no folic acid in smack, and it ruins the fetus’s spine.Nero’s sob story does nothing to impact Gemma’s heart of stone, and she tells Nero she can’t forgive Tara right now.
