Good evening, fellow Trashies. Another Monday which means another night of our talented little hopefuls battling out. There’s been so much Caroline love that I might have to rethink my stance that this is her last week. Before you all start fixin’ to chuck whatever it is you’ve got in your hands at your computer screen – let me ‘splain. I love Caroline. She’s almost as adorable as a litter of golden retriever puppies in a basket. Almost While all this is a true fact, there is no way Caroline will out-vote Tessanne, James and Matthew. Based on all the performance to date. In theory. Hey, Carson! We got us some Cole, Ray, Caroline, Matthew, Jacquie, James, Will and Tess hanging out waiting for Robin Thicke to come on out and sing us a song. He’s starting to morph into his dad, isn’t he? If he puts on a sweater vest, I’ll just die. Robin’s sitting at his piano with a voice track over his own live singing doing “Feel Good”. I hate to admit this but it’s pretty good. I’m digging this musical nod he’s giving to 70’s soul, with the modern R&B touches. Shit. I hate to like this guy but I have to tip my invisible hat to him. Back from the first set of commercials and James Wolpert is up. Team Adam is bonding over champs! James reveals that he’s nutting up and doing “Somebody to Love” by Queen. He and his girlfriend are big Queen fans. Adam tells him to stay calm during the performance and he’ll do great. I’m giving James a slow-clap just for having the balls to do a Freddie Mercury song. James comes out on stage through a throng of all-male backup singers in tuxes. I love it already. I hope he remembers to chill so he doesn’t get overzealous on this song. Oh SNAP! He nails the big note in the middle. Adam looks like he wants to kiss James. Me likey. James is walking around the stage all confident and, dare I say, kind of … hot? Ick – I just grossed myself out. Kidding! He kicked that song’s ass. Loved. It. Carson dug it, too, and Adam’s very excited. Whoa – Adam’s looking F-I-N-E. He tells James that he was so impressed and tells him he could go out and sing with the real band, Queen, if he wanted to. He gushes and it’s cool. Blake concurs with Adam’s assessment and tells him that’s his best performance yet. Xtina tells James that he should be proud and that whoever choreographed him made her feel like she was watching a Broadway show. She thinks the backup singers looked like Adam and James cloned babies or something. Chuckle! Ceelo tells James he’s a huge Queen fan and tells him that his was one of the best Voice performances ever. Pages: 1 23456
