Hi there trashmiis! This week on The Amazing Race, we find out the Hot Doc’s dirty little secret: They like Jesus. As they step off the mat in first place and find out they are to head to Indonesia, Travis tells us that the Lord is why they are on the show. They want to be a beacon for God’s light to shine through them, so that people can see that you don’t have to resort to lying or cheating or blah, blah, blah… I don’t know what else he said. I was too busy rolling my eyes and throwing up. Then we’re treated to a prayer in their cab. It is amusing that the producer’s have waited to reveal that our Lukewarm Docs are bible thumpers on this particular leg of the race. But I must say I am grateful they waited so long. I absolutely cannot stand people who think their religion is right and they must conduct themselves in a way that makes a good example to bring other people into their fold. That’s how the Crusades got started. I would have lost my affinity for the docs a lot sooner if I had known they were self righteous “I’m better than you because I believe in the bible” people. I’m all for people believing in whatever they want to. But I hate people who judge others by their own standards. What’s right for one person is right for them, but not necessarily right for anyone else. Just say your prayers, shut up about it, and keep it to yourself.Thank you. Sorry. Stepping off my soap box now. Back to our regularly scheduled program. Pinky is keeping the Brain entertained as they head to the airport. Are the people of Indonesia Chinese or Indian? Evil Marie tells Tim that 99% of the time she is right and she isn’t going to listen to him anymore. There is really no talking to her. As Tim tries to have an inane discussion with her about teamwork, she just steamrolls over him until he shuts up. I have been feeling sorry for Tim, but enough is enough, already. He has got to get away from her. I’m tired of feeling sorry for him and I think he should be embarrassed that the only emotion this situation can solicit is pity. Seriously, Tim. Do you want to only be known as the guy with the helpless face? Grow a pair and give this girl a dose of her own medicine. Meanwhile, the Afghanimals seem to know they are going to have a good day. They slept in and missed their mat time, which doesn’t seem to phase them at all. They laugh as they join the Ice Twins on the mat to read the next clue, claiming that they were waiting for the girls.
