Alrighty folks it’s time for episode 3 of Face Off, we’ve hit the critical point where we actually have to start to remember people’s names and if we like them or not. Previously – we had an alien challenge where a lot of teams had bizarre interpretations of what impact a planetary problem would have on a species (looking at you “they drink water through their hands”). We’re down to 13 remaining contestants. Time to start the show. The contestants are on the beach. Rashaad has never been to the Pacific ocean so this is very exciting for him. Oh Rashaad I’ll show you the world, come away with me. He thinks its something you only see in movies. They’re at Point Doom, which is the spot from Iron Man where Tony Starks mansion was, and was also featured in the end of Planet of the Apes. So of course everyone freaks out at the grandeur and history of this spot. It looked like this. Only without the house. So, just rocks. Exciting!This weeks challenge will involve dragons. Tyler is super excited (shocking I know) A new Challenge? I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGSMost dragons are fire breathing, but for this (individual –yay!) spotlight challenge they get to select a shield with damage and make a dragon that is capable of generating that damage – frozen, charred, corroded, quilled, slimed, sandblasted, and tarred. (pretty sure a sand breathing dragon is the lamest thing I’ve ever heard of. So whoever gets that will probably design something insanely badass and shut me up forever) Anyway here’s the breakdown of who chose what: Rashaad – Tar Chloe – SandTyler- IceGraham – SlimeNiko – QuilledMatt – SandDaniel – SlimeTess – QuillGeorge – FireCorinne – AcidDaran – AcidTanner – FireCat – IceRashaad’s tar dragon is going to have a dark and covered body, (not sure what that vague description means, thanks a lot) he’s ready to work alone (it’s your time to shine baby!). Chloe chose sandblasted. She wants to do an aquatic creature, so she decided to opt for a seahorse dragon. Yeah I’m gonna go with my initial reaction and say that sounds super lame.
